HISDU

The HISDU was created to facilitate the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department (P&SHD). The P&SHD understands it as the need of the hour, and IT center is a channel through which the department make sure a smooth changeover into a computerized P&SHD. It will facilitate efficient spread of directions, initiatives and requests for proper and timely disposal. It will also lead the development of customized software and database design, with the introduction of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), tools in all areas.

Command & Control Center

A Command & Cell has been established at Primary & secondary Healthcare Department, South Punjab in order to monitor the progress on implementation of policies by a dedicated team data collection from the field formation of South Punjab as is not only ensured but necessary information is also disseminated regarding the policy matters to the concerned Move-over, reports & Presentation are prepared on the basis of data from all the field formation/Dashboard and are presented to the competent authority for further necessary action.

Order Generation Cell

Under this initiative of the Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department, barcoded System Generated Orders are being issued and SMS alerts are being generated to the applicant regarding issuance of his/her orders and those orders are being displayed at official web site of the department. HISDU Centre is set up for online order generation only.

Data Collection & Analysis

Data collection and analysis cell is established to collect any type of information from field offices / districts. Staff of Data Collection & Analysis Cell is connected with all districts to collect the required information.

Facilitation Center

This center has been established in Primary & Secondary Healthcare Department to perform one window operations.

Objective

Setting up facilitation centers in P&SHD South Punjab has following objectives:
  • Empowerment of Staff by providing easy access to the Department.
  • Effective, efficient, prompt hassle-free, and corruption-free service delivery
  • Greater transparency
  • Extending access to unserved groups of Employees.
  • Simplifying File submitting procedures
  • Increasing field officers /official’s satisfaction index
  • Complaints obedience and help desk.
  • Leaves, transfers/posting, and retirement requests can be easily entertained through the facilitation center.
